Another event that made me realize that Steve is a poor gambler happened in Vegas.  He excitedly told me that he had overheard some people talking about a horse that is starting at fifteen to one.  Steve told me that he’d placed everything he had on the horse because the rest of the horses aren’t scheduled to start until one o’clock.

I bought my mother-in-law a chair for Christmas but she won’t plug it in.

Most of us know that Steve is a bit of a sports gambler.  He’s not always the smartest better though.  I once watched him lose $50 on horse race.  $25 on the race and $25 on the instant replay.

For those who don’t know, Steve is a nature-lover, which is really odd when you consider what nature has done to him.
